Build Community Power.
Corvallis Community Power Club and its partner Tangerine Power help locals "crowdfund" solar power projects on roofs in their community. Homeowners who do not have the ideal solar rooftop, condo residents, and even renters who want to reduce their community's carbon footprint and dependence on fossil fuels can now participate in the solar revolution.
Find out how Community Power makes winners out of:
Property Owners: Rent your roof to the Club - receive low-cost or no-cost solar power. We'll take care of installing, insuring, and maintaining the system and producing solar power for you.
How it works:
Members purchase a SunSlicetm from the Community Supported Energy project they choose. When you buy a SunSlice you are paid for the energy generated from a single solar panel, up to the amount of your original purchase. Surplus funds stay in the Corvallis Community Power Club, managed by members of your community, to fund more local energy projects.
We are building the solar powered world we want to leave to our children. Will you join us? Take the first step. Sign up for our email newsletter at the left side of this page and take the poll below. Corvallis Community Power will have an online SunSlicetm membership program in the next few weeks, and will notify you via your email when we go live.
