Executives
Stanley Florek, Chief Executive Officer is applying his wide-angle lens to emerging opportunities in distributed energy finance and deployment. He has delivered technology solutions for hundreds of organizations, including Microsoft, Corbis, Airborne Express, John Deere, Aon Insurance, the US Air Force, the US Army, and the University of Washington Medical Center. He earned an MBA at the pioneering Bainbridge Graduate Institute for Sustainable Business, with a concentration in Sustainable Energy Solutions. Stanley is a global networker with hundreds of connections to clean energy entrepreneurs and activists worldwide. He is actively involved in distributed energy policymaking at the state and federal levels, and co-founded the trade association Washington Local Energy Alliance (WALEA). He also serves on the board of Solar Washington. Stanley previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Advantive, an energy information management firm he co-founded. Tangerine Power is Stanley's 4th venture.
Marc Pollard, Chief Customer Officer is an innovative marketing and management professional with more than eighteen years of experience in business-to-business and consumer-product marketing, business development, and media communications. Marc has managed and directed marketing campaigns for clients such as Air National Guard, Navy, Army, Microsoft, Ford, Hawaiian Airlines, Avis Rent-A-Car, VW, Audi, Speedy Auto Glass, DC Lottery, Washington Lottery and KFC among many others. Marc has worked for Fortune 500 advertising firms, such as the WPP Group, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson, to deliver high-end advertising and marketing campaigns that focus on revenues, profits, customer loyalty and overall product branding. Marc's strengths include creating internet marketing, sales, and joint venture strategies for both on/offline business, exceptional organization building and communication skills. He has proven expertise in obtaining federal and state contracts, contracting policy and certifications. When Marc as Chief Operating Officer of public sector IT firm MACROsystems, Inc. and was instrumental in quadrupling the company's revenue over a 2 year period.
Andrew Boyd, Chief Financial Officer has over 20 years of experience in finance and business administration and brings to Tangerine a blend of corporate and start-up expertise. He has been a licensed CPA in the State of Washington since 1991. Andrew holds a BA in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of Washington. Early in his career, Andrew worked with KPMG Peat Marwick, where he focused on Audits of Healthcare and High Tech clients. Andrew spent several years in the healthcare industry, most notably with DaVita Healthcare (NYSE-DVA) where he served as Assistant Controller and Director of Accounting. He was CFO for NetVersant Seattle and held Controller positions for Microsoft and Reflex Communications. Andrew Co-Founded Atigeo LLC, a data pattern recognition and personalization software company in 2005, and oversaw the Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Facilities functions, and raised over $33M in private equity financing.
